New Future 04:11
All your dreams Gone awry Nobody's spared Yeah, these are strange times All your hopes Gone up in smoke Nobody's laughing This is not a joke All the leaves are falling It's another new year Making plans and resolutions Won't hide your disillusions Run right along Hold my hand I don't know the way But we'll get there Days are long We can't see the end Are we running out of time I don't really care All the leaves are falling It's another new year Making plans and resolutions Won't hide your disillusions Seems like nothing's changing But the wind is blowing We all need a new direction To live a new future

I'm gonna leave this troubled year behind Gonna take what's good and gonna bring it back to life I'm gonna let the raging feelings slide Got nothing much to lose Gonna take what's yours and mine And time is passing fast Too fast for it to last No time to let it rest The time is ours I'm gonna throw my sordid blues behind Gonna catch a wave and let the silent worlds collide And time is passing fast Too fast for it to last No time to let it rest The time is ours I'm gonna throw my sordid blues behind Gonna catch a wave and let the silent worlds Gonna catch a wave and let the silent worlds Gonna catch a wave and let the silent worlds collide Yeah yeah yeah Yeah yeah yeah Yeah yeah yeah

You've made a difference If not in this world At least in my life You calm me down Now I don't know why you're in disguise Lift up your veil and let your spirit soar Shine on I want to feel the sun in my eyes Just lie on my back Get stereo high I want to feel the sun in my eyes Just lie on my back Get stereo high And you there Yeah you're there You sing me a song Brighten up the day You give me the light that shines my way You calm me down You give me a smile That takes away The blues and the pain You keep me sane You calm me down You sing me a song That takes away The blues and the pain You keep me sane You calm me down I want to feel the sun in my eyes Just lie on my back Get stereo high I want to feel the sun in my eyes Just lie on my back Get stereo high I want to feel the sun in my eyes Just lie on my back Get stereo high I want to feel the sun in my eyes Just lie on my back Get stereo high And you there Ya you're there And you say it's time to come home

Tired of being down and out Had to get my feet on the ground I've paid my dues It's time to live Had to rise above the noise Far away from the girls and boys I had to learn To fight again The heartbreak, can get you down But the heart gets stronger when you come around People try to comprehend What they just can't understand They choose to live in the same old ways When you start to live your dreams Things may not be what they seem But the passion fills your life everyday The heartbreak, can get you down But the heart gets stronger when you come around Don't give up on meaning Don't give up on life Don't give up on leaning on what's right The heartbreak, can get you down But the heart gets stronger when you come around

Oh my, IG star Posing in your supercar You’re just killing time Spread your wings and learn to fly Don’t believe the little lies The earth's not flat, it's not classified Fast cars and limousines Flashy clothes on Halloween Don’t tell me where you’ve been Get your fix on nicotine Quench your thirst with bubble tea Whatever Get your kicks Once you dreamed to play a part Take me to the start When did it fall apart? Once you dared to play your part Take me to the start Oh darling where’s your heart? Oh tell me where’s your heart? Fake news and Donald Trump Built a wall and a toxic dump Eat love pray and punch Brexit vote and killer virus New lockdowns and quarantines They know where you've been K-pop stars and YouTube streams A billion likes, oh what a tease You’re so hard to please Cruising down the empty streets Where poets dream and lovers meet Oh darling can’t you see? Once you dreamed to play a part Take me to the start When did it fall apart? Once you dared to play your part Take me to the start Oh darling where’s your heart? Oh tell me where’s your heart? Oh darling where’s your heart? Oh tell me where’s your heart?

You crawl up in the morning You wish you could be sleeping Another day has come your way It's time to go on You say you don't need money Only good company It doesn't matter what you do You just gotta move All the questions keep on cropping up There's no answers anymore Only thing you know is your restless heart Needs a resting place The sun's on the horizon The train will be arriving It doesn't matter where you go It all ends the same Come back to what you know You never can go too low Just hanging on but make it seem Like everything flows All the questions keep on cropping up There's no answers anymore Only thing you know is your restless heart Needs a resting place Needs a resting place

Lucid Dreams 04:48
Walking through these empty roads With a cough-drop can, looking for spiders The games we used to play In our minds we travelled past the hills and valleys To find answers But no one is to say With every door we open Hoping to find treasures through our slumber The sound of mindless banter From an old and crippled panther Moving in slowly like a hunter to a prey Calling out your name It will never be the same Placid scenes of flowing streams Like a child that builds sandcastles on the water They’re just lucid dreams that fade away Passing through the vivid landscapes On the shoreline into yonder Feeling every breath of wind That makes my heart grow fonder Fonder of you You know it’s true Remembering the times We crossed the bridge and talked about the weather How it used to be so warm But now it’s getting so much colder Does it even matter? Now it’ll never rain again Calling out your name It will never be the same Placid scenes of flowing streams Like a child that builds sandcastles on the water They’re just lucid dreams that fade away We learn to count our blessings As we live our lives each day To catch the sunlight on a rainy day You can never walk away from the destiny that Calls upon us all to heed the call And take the fall And have a ball The new day dawns And dew is raining down the apocalyptic forest The morning grows, the rooster crows Then suddenly we realize that we are Just a fading memory we call “yesterday” Calling out your name It will never be the same Placid scenes of flowing streams Like a child that builds sandcastles on the water They’re just lucid dreams that fade away They’re just lucid dreams that fade away Lucid dreams that fade away

It's not easy To be loved It's not easy To be anything When your world is crashing And you're hanging On to something That you want to live for Hanging on to anything to live for It's not easy To be strong It's not easy To get up When the weight is on your shoulder And you're getting older While the world is moving on Losing touch with everything to live for It's not easy To be free It's not easy To do anything When you have noone around Your feet is sinking In the quicksand And you have no rope Hanging on to anything that gives you hope It's not easy To give love It's not easy To open your heart When the world is cold And oh so cruel Everything you know Is going under The days of being young and wild Are over Oh my friend This cannot be the end Oh my friend This cannot be It's so easy to give up It's so easy to give in I won't let them win And stand over me With their silly grin And plastic skin Get away from me We'll build another world My friend, just you and me And we'll keep on kicking Till our days are over And we'll keep on rocking Till our days are over

Here's the song you said I'd never write for you Until the day I die My heart laid bare for all the world to see Though I tried to keep you by my side Your mind is on some other guy And every word I speak Just comes out wrong And I'll take you Yes I beg you And I'll make you every day A love so high you don't ever want to come down To the best of my intentions You will have all my affections I will let you in and throw away the key Say goodbye to all your sorrows Don't have to wait until tomorrow It's such a lovely day to start a brand new slate And I'll take you Yes I beg you And I'll make you every day A love so high you don't ever want to come down So here's the song you said I'd never write for you Until the day I die My heart laid bare for all the world to see Can't you see?

She's gone without a word Left a trail of lipstick traces in my world And the scent of her sweet perfume Still lingers in the room And the sound of her footsteps echo in my ear All those years Don't they all seem so far away And Van You're the man I've got Moondance on the stereo for my soul And the strains of Caravan Stoned me like jelly roll I come running into the mystic When I'm cold These dreams of you Don't they all seem so far away Feel like I'm wasted Feel kind of jaded Can't seem to get you out of my head Look up at the stars They don't change for a million years Not like you And I thought you were my bestest friend Someone with a helping hand Was I blinded by your laughter and your tears All those years Don't they all seem so far away Feel like I'm wasted Feel kind of jaded Can't seem to get you out of my head Out of my head Out of my head Feel like I'm wasted Feel kind of jaded

You're losing sleep Counting sheep You're losing all of your senses You look at me I can see The light and beauty in your face This is just a little song, a lullaby This is just a simple song to help you get by Oh I hope you find some comfort in the love your friends and family give Like this lullaby to help you get by Well here I am You're not alone I'm right here if you need a home When it's cold outside Find the light It will guide you through the night This is just a little song, a lullaby This is just a simple song to help you get by Oh I hope you find some comfort in the love your friends and family give Like this lullaby to help you get by You cannot hide The hurt inside All the things they said Playing in your mind Don't you hide What's inside Come take my hand And stay for awhile Let's dance tonight It'll be alright The dreams you dream just hold them tight Your smile's so wide Such a pretty sight Baby don't give up this fight This is just a little song, a lullaby This is just a simple song to help you get by Oh I hope you find some comfort in the love your friends and family give Like this lullaby to help you get by
